Project Developments

Below you will find projects the Guadalupe CDC has accomplished for the Town of Guadalupe. The Guadalupe CDC is currently accepting applications for the Affordable Housing Project which consists of helping individuals and families in need of adequate, safe and affordable housing.

Guadalupe Villas

The Guadalupe Villas is part of the Affordable Housing Program. The project consisted in developing three homes which contained 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 2 car garage.

 

The completed construction and sold three homes to qualified buyers in June 2020. Funding for this project included private and federal funds (HUD, SHOP, HUD HOME, and RCAC sources). 

Completed in 2020, 9 family members were assisted.

GCDC Project Involvement

Colonia Estrella Subdivision

2008 - 2009

Assisted with acquisition, development of lots for 23 Single Family Homes (Self Help). The GCDC secured third party construction loans for four of the homes. These families completed 65 percent of the construction on their homes. 41 family members were assisted.

Nuestra Señora Apartments

2009

The GCDC is the co-developer and general partner of a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit development in Guadalupe. The development consisting if 72 family apartments began lease up in October of 2009.

Itom A'e Senior Housing

2010

The GCDC and GAHI performed as co-developer and GAHI is the general partner for the Itom A'e development, a 65-unit senior development, which began leasing in late October of 2010.

Colonia Lupita

2011

Acquisition and development of six lots introducing Energy Star certified homes for six families using designs provided by Arizona State University Stardust Design Group and Phundamental PLLC. Funding for this development included both private and federal sources. Completed in 2011, 20 family members were assisted.

Sahuaro-Encinas

2013

Acquisition and development of four affordable Energy Star certified homes located on scattered sites in the Town of Guadalupe. Funding for this development included both private and federal sources. Construction completed in 2013, 13 family members were assisted. 

Vauo Nawi

2018

Completed construction and sold four homes to qualified buyers in November of 2018. Funding for this project included both private and federal funds. Completed in 2018, 15 family members were assisted.
